It’s over twenty-four hours since the transfer window closed, but Liverpool have just confirmed a new signing.
The Reds have confirmed that 18-year-old Brazilian midfielder Allan Rodrigues de Souza has completed his move from Internacional.
Rather than join Liverpool immediately, however, Allan is joining Finnish side Seinajoen Jalkapallokerho on loan until January.
Back in July, Brazilian news outlet UOL Esporte reported that Internacional sold Allan to Liverpool for £500,000. Liverpool first spotted Allan at the Frenz International Cup held in Indonesia and Kuala Lumpur earlier this year.
Allan has never made a first team appearance for Internacional, while the teenager is billed as a defensive centre-mid.
Allan becomes the fourth Brazilian on the books at Anfield, joining Lucas Leiva, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.
It was a busy summer for the Reds, as Firmino, James Milner, Danny Ings, Nathaniel Clyne, Adam Bogdan and Joe Gomez all joined the club.
