Historic Craigavon House once home to Sir James Craig, is owned and run by the Somme Association, a charity that cares for elderly war veterans.
Filming on Brad Pitt’s movie The Lost City Of Z is continuing after an other location move, this time from the dramatic Causeway Coast to a leafy road in East Belfast.
Cast and crew have set up outside the elegant Craigavon House on Circular Rd, once home to Sir James Craig former leader of the Ulster Unionist Party.
The building is now owned and run by the Somme Association, a charity which cares for elderly war veterans.
And the outdoor scenes will show off the beautiful facade which was completed in 1870 overlooking Belfast Lough for wealthy businessman James Craig, at the time a director in the Belfast-based Dunville Whiskey Distillery.
Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kliener have joined forces to produce the movie version of David Grann’s best seller.
Earlier this week the set in Ballintoy, Co Antrim, was graced by Sienna Miller, 33, in full period costume complete with striking red red.
And last week the team was was filming on location down the coast on beautiful Strangford Lough outside Greyabbey at a little white washed cottage.
The Lost City of Z, scheduled for release next year, is based on David Grann’s 2009 book about legendary British explorer Percy Fawcett who ventured into the Amazon jungle in search of a mystical city in 1925, but never returned.
Sienna Miller, 33, plays Percy’s wife, Nina in the movie has been spotted with Charlie Hunnam, who plays the lead, Percy Fawcett, filming on location at the The Ballintoy Parish Church of Ireland.
Hunnam, 35, was seen sporting a fair moustache, his slicked-back in a sharp side-parting, and wearing a black shirt and tailcoat as he portrayed the legendary British explorer.
Twilight actor Robert Pattinson, 29, rising star Tom Holland - who was recently confirmed as the new Spider-Man - and actress Siennah Buck have also been filming scenes in Northern Ireland.
Production started last month and the cast and crew will spend an other two to three weeks in Northern Ireland before shooting in Colombia at the end of the month and into October.
