Funkadelic ft Kendrick Lamar & Ice Cube – Ain’t That Funkin Kinda Hard On You

Kendrick Lamar fans are still struggling to wrap their mind around his “Untitled II” performance last month on The Tonight Show.

Some worried that “Untitled II,” like “Untitled,” would never get actually recorded… but Kendrick’s first “Untitled II” verse makes a surprise appearance in Funkadelics’s new “Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard On You?” remix.

“Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard On You?” originally appeared on Funkadelic’s three-disc album First Ya Gotta Shake the Gate. Ice Cube joins Kendrick on the ‘We Ain’t Neva Gonna Stop’ remix. Kendrick’s “Untitled II” bars certainly sound different over George Clinton’s interplanetary funk grooves than they do on the original slick, jazzy TPAB-esque chords… which do you prefer?
