WU-TANG CLAN FT R-MEAN & MZEE JONES – G’D UP

Wu-Tang Clan ft R-Mean & Mzee Jones – G’d Up
R-Mean scores a Wu-Tang collabo on his latest “Mean Mondays” cut,

If you’ve been following our site, you’d know that we’ve been showing some love to Armenian-American rapper R-Mean for a minute now. His ongoing series Mean Mondays has been going on for forty-two weeks now, which is a distinguished accomplishment in and of itself. Seriously, the dude puts in a respectable amount of hustle, and has managed to grind out some dope material for a consecutive stretch of time. However, this time around is a slight deviation from the mold, and marks one of R-Mean’s biggest milestones thus far.
While the Los Angeles based rapper has collaborated with several big names in the past, there’s something special about trading bars with the one and only M-E-T-H-O-D Man, and on a Wu-Tang Clan album, no less. Speaking of which, the only Clan that matters dropped their Mathematics-Curated album The Saga Continues dropped on October 13th, and it featured none other than R-Mean. In celebration, Mean has included his contribution to “G’d Up” as his newest Mean Monday cut.
Over a smooth, Mafioso-inspired instrumental from Mathematics, R-Mean delivers some scathing punchlines: “The flow is losing, it’s so abusive, was born a Christian but Joe the truth is that dough is Jewish, I over do this, fuck a moderation, homie we focused, my camp Auschwitz with the concentration.” Let it be down, R-Mean holds his own with the legendary Method Man, and “G’D Up” manages to stand out as one of the album’s gulliest cuts.
It’s a big W for R-Mean, and if the rapper has proven anything, it’s that he can hustle with the best of them. Take a second to bump one of The Saga Continues gems, and stay tuned till next week, when R-Mean strikes back with another dose of something new. And let’s be honest – not everyone gets to cross “Collabo with Meth” one their bucket list.
