Last season’s PFA Player of the Year and the West London sides’ talisman Eden Hazard, has taken to social media to like a post on Instagram linking him with a move to Real Madrid in 2016.
The Belgian international has endured an unforeseeable poor start to the new Premier League season and the 24-year-old’s poor form has been seen as part of the reason for Chelsea’s struggles so far this campaign.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho has apparently been very critical of some of his senior players, which include Eden Hazard as well as defender Branislav Invanovic and club captain John Terry.
On Saturday the Belgian was left out of the Chelsea starting line up in their 2-0 win over Aston Villa, leading to more questions over his form.
The winger who has been linked with Real Madrid multiple times over the last couple of seasons may have now just given his clearest indication yet that a move to the Spanish capital may well be on the cards.
This is not the first time a footballer has liked a post linking him with a move to another club. Ironically Barcelona superstar Leo Messi started following Chelsea on Instagram when rumours surfaced linking the Argentine with a move to Stamford Bridge in January (read story here).
Maybe we shouldn’t read too much into it then?
