Premier League defending champions Chelsea’s official website has confirmed, that the Jose Mourinhohas sent another young talent out on loan, with midfielder John Swift joining Championship side Brentford on a one-month deal.
The midfielder, who has previously had stints with Rotherham United and Swindon Town, becomes the 34th Chelsea player currently on temporary transfer away from the club.
England U20 international who has featured prominently for Chelsea at youth level, Swift made his senior debut for Jose Mourinho’s side as a substitute against Cardiff City at the end of the 2013/14 season. He has, however, had to be patient for further opportunities since then.
