Prison guards blockade fails to stop Paris attack conspirator reaching court

Prison guards have blocked the entrance of Fresnes prison just outside Paris on Wednesday, as anger grows following a series of attacks by inmates.

Around 200 protesters set up a picket line and burnt barricades, in a tense stand-off with riot police.
