PAUL SCHOLES believes he knows how to get the best out of Paul Pogba.
He extended his run without a goal or assist for the Red Devils to four games in today’s disappointing 3-1 Premier League defeat away to Watford.
And Scholes believes Jose Mourinho must change United’s set-up for the France international to thrive.
The Old Trafford legend wants to see Pogba deployed in a midfield three, just as he was throughout his four-year stint with Juventus.
“He played for three years at Juventus, in a three,” Scholes told BT Sport after the match at Vicarage Road.
“He was sensational. He played in a two for France a little bit in the summer – he wasn’t great, and played in a two this season – he’s not been great.
Now we want to see Juventus Paul Pogba. He played in a brilliant team at Juventus with great experience around him – not just in defence but in midfield as well.
“And to get the best out of him, I think he has to be in a three.”
