Mourinho ‘Ordered’ To Never Play Marcos Rojo Following Feyenoord Defeat

It was a disappointing night for José Mourinho and Manchester United last night, where, in their Europa League clash with Feyenoord, the Premier League side were handed their second consecutive defeat.

Rojo is one of the worst players who's ever played for our club. He is worse than Djemba Djemba

The honeymoon period that United fans have enjoyed since the arrival of Mourinho in May has well and truly ended. This was not how it was meant to be. Free flowing, goal scoring and that old confident swagger – that’s what fans expected this season.

Instead, the last week has shown fans that there is still a long way to go for Mourinho and his expensive squad before they can truly say they have moved beyond their van Gaal years.

While progress has been made, the blossoming partnership of new signing Eric Bailly with the previously under performing Daley Blind, the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the continued progression of Marcus Rashford, there are worrying clouds on the horizon.

World record signing Paul Pogba has still yet to settle at the Old Trafford. Another below par performance last night leaves critics ready to gleefully pounce. A few more games like last night and there will be no hiding for the 23-year-old.

However, it is another United player that has come in for the most criticism following last night’s defeat. Deputising for Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo has been singled out by fans, accusing him of being completely anonymous once again.

Such are the frustrations being felt by fans, many have taken to Twitter to ‘order’ Mourinho never to play the Argentina international again. Here are just some of the vitriol comments from the United faithful.

Whether unfairly singled out or not, Rojo has become a figure of frustration for fans. As a van Gaal signed player, he reminds them of the failings from the last few seasons.

Lucky for him then that it is Mourinho who gets the final say on his team selection. However, with fans now looking to him for answers, how long will it be until his faith in Rojo last?

Was trying to chill about Rojo. But he's dreadful. Simply dreadful. Woeful
@allforunited offers us nothing but stupidity

Rojo should never play for again.

Rojo should never play for again.

Van Gaal deserves a prison sentence for bringing Rojo to Manchester United!
