A Call To Order Concerning Skiibii Death Rumor – Anusiobi Franklin (@It_Franklyn)

Anusiobi franklin Who happens to be a blogger, PR, OAP, writter, Artist / Model manager and motivational speaker, reacts to the  so called news / rumour about skiibii that flued the airwaves today, Mr franklin which we all knew was  closed to the team then during his pr days with harrysongs has this to say.

Around 8am Friday August 14,2015 news was announced that popular upcoming artiste Skiibii was found dead in his room in Lagos after collapsing while preparing for a day out for his publicity scheme. This news went viral.

All blogging sites in Nigeria approved these rumors to be true and even the artistes management team confirmed his death via the social networking site, Instagram. Now the funny part occurs when Kcee, who currently is out of the country, confirmed the rumors to be false without any legitimate proof of the news involving the sources that actually pronounced the artiste dead.

Now this news was spread by outside source some of which were a part of the artiste’s team but now the viewers and fans at home have held we, the bloggers/publicist, responsible for falsifying the events that played out in the artiste’s life. Irrespective of the fact that we bloggers let out this information, that does not qualify the threats that our blogs intentionally post false or harmful information about people. If at all we did give out ‘false information’about the current issue what about artistes like Wizkid, Phyno and Davido who also posted pictures as solid evidence also confirming the artistes death. Why cant the public give them a share of the blame also? Well they also deserve it.

Ask yourself why will an artiste fake his death without considering the after effects or the consequences it will bring upon him, his management and even his fans? If he in actuality used death as a publicity stunt what happens if he really dies? The news obviously will not be taken seriously. Ever heard the story of ‘The boy who cried wolf?’ He cried ‘wolf!’ two times, everyone rushed away to save their lives; the third time when a real wolf appeared, fiercely charging, the boy cried ‘wolf!’but no one heeded his warning. Skiibii has cried wolf. But if the events that played out were truly real, my prayer and all our prayers is that the Lord keeps him, protects him and adds more years to his success. So lets not blame anyone, precisely any blogger, for an incident that can occur anytime, anywhere, anyday.
