"That is not our job" - Black people call out singer Bette Midler after she asked Beyonce to mobilize the beyhive to defeat Donald Trump

American singer-songwriter Better Midler has received heat for encouraging Beyonce to mobilize her fans, the beyhive, to vote out Donald Trump.

Bette has been calling out Donald Trump since yesterday and, hours ago, she suggested that Beyonce alone and her fans can vote out Trump seeing as Beyonce's Instagram followers are double the number of people who voted for Trump. 

But Blacks were not having it and they quoted statistics to remind her that "53% of white women" voted for Trump yet she's expecting black women to clean up the mess.

Bette tweeted: "#Beyoncé has 133 million Instagram followers. More than double the people who voted for Trump. Wouldn’t it be amazing if the #BeyHive mobilized to defeat him? I also wouldn’t mind if a regular bee hive fucked his shit up."

A Twitter user replied: "53% of white women voted for Trump. Why do y’all make the mess and then call upon the starpower of a black woman to clean it up? As if all her fans are in the US in the first place. Pls."

Another wrote: "Why, exactly is that *our* job? Holla at the 52% of your folks who wouldn't support their own. Gather them first, and some of them are in the hive..."
