Social media’s favourite Gqom duo, the Distruction Boyz have been teasing an album on social media for weeks now and today, we finally have a release date.
21-year-old Thobani ‘Cue’ Mgobhozi and 22-year-old Zipho ‘Gold’ Mthembu or Distruction Boyz as they are popularly known are Gqom DJ’s and producers from Kwa-Mashu, who are also the SAMA-nominated masterminds behind ‘Wololo’ and ‘Shut Up & Groove.’
Come Friday, 20th October 2017, we’ll all be able to purchase/ download the much anticipated Distruction Boyz album titled #GqomIsTheFuture. Fans can already pre-order it on iTunes by clicking here.

“It feels like a dream to finally get such a rare opportunity to release our debut album. God has been amazing but we cannot forget our supporters from all over Mzansi. Thank you for the support – we do this for you” said Gold in a statement.
“The festive season officially kicks starts this Friday and we hope bra God extends December with 3 more days because there will be a lot of dancing this summer.
