[VIDEO] This Unbelievable Miss By A Nigerian Striker In Norway Has Gone Viral

 

A 19 year-old Nigerian striker, Shuaibu Ibrahim, who plays for Haugesund in the Norwegian top flight and is considered something of a potential star missed an open goal chance against Lillestrom after he had the chance to put his team 3-1 up.

Sadly for Ibrahim, he might not be called “a hot prospect” for a little while. For the time being, he’s far more likely to be compared to Yakubu Aiyegbeni, who missed an open goal chance for Nigeria at the 2010 world cup in South Africa.

In the video, the ball is played across goal to Ibrahim with the goal at his mercy. There’s no-one near him. A Grandma – literally, An elderly,frail grandmother – could stumble the ball into the goal.

And yet, somehow, Ibrahim puts it wide. It was a shocker as the game eventually ended 2-2.
