Eden Hazard will resist offers from Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in a bid to impress new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, according to The Times.
The Belgian and 2014/2015 Premier League Player of the Year has endured a very poor season, scoring just two goals – in the FA Cup – in 38 appearances for the Blues.
Hazard has been linked with a possible summer exit, with especially Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain being very interested in the playmaker’s services.
However, the 25-year-old is looking to impress new coach Antonio Conte, who’s also willing to keep Hazard as a key player for Chelsea next season.
Meanwhile, the Stamford Bridge club have opened talks with PSG playmaker Javier Pastore, who is unhappy at the Ligue 1 champions due to his lack of playing time under Laurent Blanc, according to Get French Football News (via Goal).
The Argentine joined PSG in 2011 from Palermo in a £31.50 million transfer and has also attracted interest from Serie A champions Juventus, who scouted Pastore during the club’s Champions League encounter with Manchester City the past two weeks.
