PDP The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Nigeria – Babangida Aliyu

A former Governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu on Wednesday stated that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, made a mistake in handing over power to a party that is not yet mature and that the people are yearning for PDP.

Aliyu made this declaration while speaking at the inauguration of the PDP convention committees yesterday.

He said: “A party that has not fully matured, but we handed over to it and we must not repeat that mistake again.

He also urged party members not to be afraid as they must continue to pray and do what is right in order to return to the Federal level of government.

Aliyu noted, “People are yearning for PDP, people want PDP, people talk about PDP, people who thought that we were not right now are saying, PDP is the best thing that ever happened.”

He further stated that in preparation for the 2019 elections, all hands must be on deck and all aggrieved parties must be appeased.

”We must go out to the people, the ones that we can apologize to, we do. The ones that we can compensate, we do. But most importantly, we gear our minds towards success, in 2019, at all levels of government.”
