Karim Benzema will join Arsenal this summer on a four-year contract, according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli.
The Real Madrid star has been heavily tipped to join the Gunners this summer although Arsene Wenger said on Sunday that a deal was not imminent.
And Giulianelli says the France international will sign a deal worth £6.3m-a-year.
Claiming Benzema would arrive in London on Sunday, he said: "Benzema told to his entourage that he's excited about Wenger and Gunners. He loves Arsenal fans."
This will take a club-record fee to persuade Real to sell Benzema to Arsenal.
They state that it will take an offer of at least £45m to persuade the La Liga giants to even consider striking a deal.
Arsenal's current record deal is the £42.5m they paid Real in 2013 for Mesut Ozil.
Arsenal shareholder Alisher Usmanov has told CNN that Arsene Wenger's side are one signing away from winning the Champions League.
The Gunners have made a number of high profile signings the past three summers in Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Petr Cech.
And Usmanov believes they are now close to being able to challenge Europe's elite clubs.
