Weezy brought Drizzy out at Lil WeezyAna fest.
“Back to Back” is already a heavy-hitting track, packed with quotables, boasting 50 million Soundcloud plays in only a month and sitting comfortably in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. That’s pretty crazy, considering it’s just a track that Drake posted online during his feud with Meek Mill — not one that was even supposed to be a single.
And on Friday night, the dis track got even crazier. That’s what’ll happen when Lil Wayne plays hypeman.
Tunechi brought Aubrey out at his Lil WeezyAna Fest in his native New Orleans last night, and Drizzy performed his vicious diatribe for the screaming crowd who backed him word-for-word. Weezy provided some background vocals, too.
For most of the video, captured by Nigel D, Wayne is dancing jubilantly in the background. There are moments, though, when he excitedly raps along with Drake’s bars with the rest of the festival.
At one point, he even finishes a line: “Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers,” Drizzy raps, before Wayne jumps in: “YOU GETTIN’ BODIED BY A SINGIN’ N—A!”
Tune also gets particularly animated about halfway through the video: “Is that a world tour or yo’ girl’s tour?!” That line, of course, is in reference to Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint Tour, for which Nicki’s boyfriend and Drake’s foe, Meek, was an opening act.
After the song ends, the two Young Money maestros show Nicki some love. “I want you to make some noise for the beautiful princess that couldn’t be here to help us out tonight,” Wayne says.
What would it have been like if she were there for the performance? Probably kind of awkward, but unfortunately we won’t ever know. The Queen of the Barbz sounded like she wished she was there, too, though.
Really wish I could've been there tonight supporting my family. #LilWeezyanaFest

With plans to open the VMAs on Sunday, Nicki probably had a pretty good excuse to not be in town.
