Tributes have continued to pour in for the late governor of Borno State, Zannah Mustapha.
Joining the list of mourners is Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
Dogara, while describing the exit of Alhaji Mustapha as a national loss, said the late politician was a selfless leader.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Turaki Hassan, on Saturday, Dogara, who condoled with Mustapha’s family, government and people of Borno State, described the late deputy governor as a patriot and selfless leader.

The Speaker said, “Mustapha’s death is a major set back for the State which is struggling to come out of the devastation as a result attacks by the Boko Haram insurgents in last five years.”
He described the late deputy governor as a pillar of support for governor Kashim Shettima since they came into power in May 2011.
“My special condolence goes to the Mustapha family. I pray God grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.” Dogara stated.
On its part, the All Progressives Congress has expressed deep shock and sadness at the sudden death of Mustapha.
Alhaji Lai Mohammed, National Publicity Secretary of the party, described Zannah’s death as a huge loss to his family, his party, his State and indeed, Nigeria.
In a statement issued in Lagos, the APC said: ”The suddenness of Alhaji’s Zannah’s passing has deepened the pain caused by his death.
”We pray that God will comfort his family and give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
The APC also commiserated with the people and government of Borno over the Deputy Governor’s death, and prayed that God would grant repose to his soul.
