Kanye West Fans Sign A White House Petition Demanding That The Rapper Releases His New Album

Look up ‘eager’ in the dictionary and you will find Kanye West’s fans.

In a desperate attempt to have their ears soothed with the rappers new sounds, fans have been signing a petition on the White House’s “We The People” website to demand that President Barack Obama force an early release of Kanye’s long-awaited album, ‘Swish’
The document read: “Kanye West has kept us thirsty for too long. We haven’t gotten any new singles in months.”

It seems that lots of fans are equally as dehydrated when it comes to Kanye’s music since the appeal racked up tens of thousands of signatures in a short space of time.

“The President should order Ye to drop the album on the date August, 21st as his producer Mike Dean has been teasing people about it.”

Unfortunately, we’re not too sure that this is going to rank too highly on the President of the United States’ priority list. A* for effort though.

The White House closed the petition yesterday, claiming that it violated “We the People’s” terms of participation. Well, that figures!

The rapper-producer released the single ‘All Day’, which he performed with his posse at the Brit Awards in February, although we couldn’t tell you what it was about, as most of the lyrics were audio muted on the television broadcast.

The father-of-one hasn’t confirmed when the new album will drop but it’s been over 2 years since his last album, ‘Yeezus’, which reached number one around the world.

Mike Dean ambiguously told Montreality in an interview that the album was “making progress” and it will be out “soon” but concluded with, “whenever Kanye says it’s done, it’s done.”

Well, we’re reassured, aren’t you?
