Liverpool have announced an agreement for the signing of highly-rated Brazilian midfielder Allan from Internacional
Allan, 18, has been given permission by his current squad to “spend time” with his new employers according to the Reds, who took to Twitter to announce the news. The player trained with his new team-mates at their Melwood base this week.
The box-to-box midfielder was said to have impressed Liverpool officials who saw him play for Internacional under-18s last season. He follows in the footsteps of fellow countryman Lucas Leiva, who arrived from Gremio in 2007. Lucas has gone on to make over 200 appearances for the club, proving a popular figure with fans.
