man tricks woman into having sex by saying he'd been poisoned and needed to "sweat it out" or he'd die

Cunning man tricks woman into having sex by saying he
A 24-year-old man tricked a woman into having sex with him by telling her he had been poisoned and the only way he would survive is if he sweated it out.

Police reports said the man, from Rotorua, New Zealand, went to the victim's house "red faced and bent over holding his ribs". They said he told the woman he had been beaten up and was forced to drink a poisonous liquid. He told her there was no antidote and he would die within 48 hours if he did not sweat it out and the woman suggested he should go for a run.

But he told the woman that going for a run would not work as he would need to sweat in a "particular way". He also claimed the person who poisoned him was flying overseas and the only remedy was for him to have sex and sweat it out.

Shortly after the encounter, the woman started getting emails from an unknown sender verifying the man's story. The messages told her she would need to perform sexual acts on the man four times and have sexual intercourse three times within the next 48 hours to get rid of the poison.

The woman eventually succumbed and had sex with the man only because she believed his life was in danger. But after 48 hours had passed, she continued getting emails threatening that people she loved would be hurt if she did not perform sexual acts on the man up to seven times a day or until he fell asleep.

The emails also said she must allow him to film the sexual acts on his phone and if she did not agree to do it semi-naked photos of her would be posted online. They also promised her a car and money if she did as she was asked.

At this point, the woman began to suspect that the man was sending the emails by himself as they included spelling mistakes and referred to him by a nickname he only ever called himself. She confronted him and he denied all knowledge of the messages and instead grabbed her arm and twisted it behind her back before knocking her to the ground. She then confided in a friend who persuaded her to report it to the police.

The man pleaded guilty to sexual connection induced by threat and male assaults on a female in court on Friday, the New Zealand Herald reports. He admitted telling the woman he had been forced to drink poison and said he would die unless she performed particular sexual acts on him within 48 hours.
He is due to be sentenced on May 25.
