Actress Megan Fox and her husband Brian Austin Green have joined the list of Hollywood celebrities who dress their children in garments meant for the opposite sex.
Brian and Megan have 3 sons together, 4-year-old Noah Shannon Green, Bodhi Ransom Green, 3, and Journey River Green, 13 months. 4-year-old Noah is allowed to wear dressed and is often seen out wearing princess costumes with the approval of his parents.
The 44-year-old "Beverly Hills, 90210" actor has defended his decision to allow his son to wear dresses. Brian insisted that his son "isn’t harming anyone" by dressing like a girl.
During an interview on the Hollywood Pipeline YouTube channel, Brian said he really "doesn’t care" about the negative criticism he receives online.
The former Wedding Band star said: "I’ve heard from some people that they don’t agree with him wearing dresses. To them I say, I don’t care. He’s four and if he wants to wear (a dress), then he wears it.
"I feel like at four or five, that’s the time he should be having fun. He’s not harming anyone by wearing a dress. If he wants to, awesome. Good on him."
Prior to Brian’s comments, his wife Megan, 31, revealed she has no restrictions on her boys when it comes to how they dress.
She said during an interview with late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel: "The boys can wear dresses. Noah wears dresses so there are no rules – you can be whatever you want to be in my house!"
Megan and Brian sometimes parade their cross-dressing son in front of the paparazzi — whom they call and tip-off in advance.
"You tell them you’re going to be somewhere. They take five minutes taking pictures and then they leave you alone," Brian explained.
