Ruffcoin drops new album under new label V12 Music

It seems to be an era of ‘split-and-stand-alone’ for Nigerian artistes. In the past week we have had the likes of Chidimma, Da Suspekt and Yung Greyc split from their known labels unceremoniously and form a new ensign of their own to either release a song or an album.

The latest to have followed that new trend is none other than Conscious Afro-Hip-Hop rapper Ruffcoin who prior to this day was under American based label Big A Entertainment.

Abia State protege who has been having a quiet but tasteful career decided to start the new month with a brand new album. He calls this one ‘Made In Aba’ and this is coming under a new label V12 Music. It is not certain if this label is his own personal ensign but it is clear with this that he has parted ways with Big A Entertainment where he released his last album Nwa Aba Reloaded.

This new album features the likes of Phyno, Zoro, Mjosh, Effect Mc, Femi Large,Pentouch,Sparkle, Fiokee and Deejay J Masta.

Speaking on the album and his choice of the album name, he had this to say,

“We are passionate about the potential Aba can have in not only Nigerian economy but African economy. We must do our best to promote our people, culture, commerce, manufacturing, trade and make sure the Made-In-Aba brand gets the attention it deserves . We urge you to support the movement.”
