Future – Nothing Is Promised
Future played a big part in Rihanna’s “Nothing Is Promised,” Future has decided to release his own version of the song — essentially the reference track that RihRih ended up singing. The record was produced by Mike WiLL Made It (alongside Pluss), who tacked it on the end of his Ransom 2 album, so it’s no surprise that Hendrix was involved from the start. Considering it was written back in 2014.
Mike Will Made-It and Rihanna teamed up for the Ransom 2 single ‘Nothing Is Promised‘ over a year ago now and although it didn’t dominate the charts like it was perhaps expected to, the Navy seemed to love it. Future had not only ad-libs on the record but writing credits so most of us assumed he helped a lot with the writing and/or melody.
