Iran’s young Greco-Roman wrestlers have booked their spots in the Under-23 World Championships, which is currently underway in Budapest.
On Friday night and in the 63 kg category, Meysam ِDalkhani advanced to the final after defeating his rivals from Belarus, Ukraine and then his opponent from Turkey in the semifinals. The young Iranian wrestler will fight for the Gold Medal against his Georgian Rival on Saturday.
In addition, Ali Akbar Yousefi advanced to the final of the 130 kg category after beating his rivals from Finland, Germany and Turkey. Yousefi will fight his Georgian opponent for the gold medal, also on Saturday night.
